7 Ways To Make Money As An Affiliate Blogger
Are you a blogger who wants to know how to make money as an affiliate?
How do you get people to click on your links and make purchases?
Then check out these ways that affiliate bloggers can make money.
1. Get paid to write reviews.
This is a pretty common strategy, but it works so well.
IF, it’s done right.
You have to figure out how to write a review that makes people want to buy the product.
It’s not enough to just say what you liked or didn’t like about the product.
You should also include who the product is for and who it isn’t for, pictures or videos, proof, pros and cons, and, most importantly, a call to action.
Always tell your reader what to do if you want to make a sale.
As I said, this could be a great way to make a lot of money if you do your research and learn how to write good reviews.
2. Find affiliate programs that pay well.
Most of us who start affiliate blogging use links from Amazon or other programs that pay 1% to 5% commissions on low-cost products.
To make a good income from these kinds of programs, you’ll need to make a lot of sales.
Even though they’re great to have, if you want to make more money with your affiliate blogging business, you’ll need to find affiliate programs with higher commissions and/or products and services that cost more.
If your blog makes a couple hundred dollars a month, you can get a pay raise right away by finding affiliate programs that pay more.
3. Make how-to videos.
You should make written or video tutorials for anything you can teach in your niche.
This is a great type of content to make because it’s interesting.
And if you can find affiliate products to promote in your tutorial, you’ll make more sales because the tutorial shows your audience how to do something.
If you search Google for “how to + your niche,” you’ll probably find a lot of things about which you could make tutorials.
Once you have ideas, you can look for affiliate products you can sell in your tutorials and start making those tutorials.
This is one of those great marketing strategies that has a lot of different parts all in one.
4. Make money with affiliate-recurring payments.
We’ve already talked about how you can make more money by finding affiliate programs with more expensive products and/or higher commissions.
Another way to make more money is to find affiliate programs that pay you every month.
People pay each month for things like hosting, membership sites, services, and so on.
When you join some of their affiliate programs, you get paid every month that one of your readers pays.
That means you only make the sale once, but you keep getting paid every month.
This is a great way to make passive income since you don’t have to do anything else to keep getting paid.
Search Google for affiliate programs in your niche that pay you on a regular basis, or look at any affiliate marketplace you belong to.
Depending on your niche, you should be able to find at least one of these affiliate programs.
If you can find more than one, you can promote more than one.
Build up those multiple sources of income that keep coming in!
5. Make money by making deals.
Want to know how to really get someone interested in buying something you’re selling?
Give them a discount!
How often have you bought something on sale or because you had a coupon for it?
When I can get a discount or a coupon, it’s hard for me not to buy something.
Many other people feel the same way.
Contact the affiliate programs you’re promoting to see if they can give you a discount, extra bonuses, coupons, etc. for what you’re selling.
Even though you’ll make less money in commissions, you’ll usually get more buyers, which means you’ll make more money.
6. Invest your profits to make more money.
When you start making money from your blog, the best thing to do is put some of that money back into your business.
You can do this in a few different ways.
To get better at marketing, you can buy courses and/or get coaching.
You can pay someone to make different kinds of content or content of higher quality for you.
Things like infographics, videos, and how-to guides, among others.
You can also buy advertising with your money.
If your blog is already making money, getting more people to visit it will help you make even more.
Your blog will continue to grow and make money if you get better at marketing, add more and better content, and get more visitors.
Investing your profits is the key to making more money.
7. Get paid to go on live video
There are now a lot of places where you can go live.
You can go live on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and other sites as well.
You can even use software to go live on all of them at the same time.
But how does going live make you more money?
Well, if you give your audience useful information, they’ll love you for it!
By showing up live, you’ll also seem more real to your readers, which will help them figure out who you are.
People like to buy from people they know, and this is a great way for your audience to get to know you.
And if you add a little something extra, like a promotion for a product you’re selling as an affiliate, you can turn your life into a marketing tool with many uses.
Also, don’t forget to save those live videos and use them for ongoing content.
You can start with live videos by doing a simple Q&A (Questions and Answers) or AMA (Ask Me Anything) session.
Based on the feedback you get from your readers and followers, you can then do live videos on topics they want to know more about.
This is a great strategy that will pay off over and over again if you put in a little bit of work.
So, that’s it!
That’s seven different ways you can make money as an affiliate blogger that I just told you about.
If you are already making money, you can add these strategies to what you are already doing to make even more money.
Start with one method and keep adding more as you have time.
Your income will grow.
